Stearns: Two Content Columns Per Page mentions

A couple weeks after, hunk, a Magic Fields developer, said that version 1.3 has add multimedia buttons. He also said that I can do if(get('name_field')){} to see if a field is empty. A half hour later, I replied:

Yay, 1.3.1 is a good improvement (though 1.3 itself had not worked at all for multiline fields). We are still having a few minor problems with editing: For instance, the newlines in the field are being removed. This can cause problems for Wordpress shortcode being rendered, such as when multiple captioned images are placed in a row. We solved this by simply putting those images into individual divs. Other problems, such as some changes not being saved or some items being deleted, may just be TinyMCE.

I had tried if(get()) before, but for some reason was having trouble with it. I don't remember what the trouble was, and that was pre 1.3: I think it may have been when content had been removed from a previously populated field. Since my time with this project is nearing an end (probably), I'm not going to go messing with it.
